There are many types of detox process, and a detox foot bath is one of them. This is based on the Chinese methodology of foot reflexology followed by traditional Chinese and Japanese as an alternative treatment. This is based on the principles of acupuncture, in which it is believed that there are more than 60 pressure points at the soles of the feet, which act as energy channels and in aiding the draining of the body’s toxins and impurities through these channels. This type of foot detox, can be done by a detox foot bath, or the use of foot detox pads or patches, which are applied like band aids across the soles of the feet.
In a detox foot bath, water interacts with a ‘compound electric current and magnetic field structure’, to create the right frequency in removing the toxins from the body through these channels. In this an Ionic detox machine is used, in which the water is energised and the feet are placed in the machine. All the toxins are removed from the pores of the soles of the feet, and hence the discoloration of water while undergoing this detox foot bath.
